One of my absolute favourite programs is
Who Do You Think You Are by the BBC that follows celebrities on their search for their family history. It's been running for nearly 7 years now and I've avidly watched every single episode. Some of them with my favourite actors (David Tennant
(watch),
Jeremy Irons, Stephen Fry) and some that have made me cry like a baby (Kim Catrall, Patsy Kensit, Jerry Springer).
Plus Mark Strong's voice as narrator is just sooooooo gorgeous! *sigh*
I've just found out that the BBC has sold the concept to NBC. This
US version is set to feature SJP, Matthew Broderick, Lisa Kudrow, Brook Sheilds, Susan Sarandon and other. I
really hope I get to see this on British TV as well. That way I get twice the amount of WDYTYA!!!!!
